Biographical information

He was born on the 29 of December, 1951 in v. Plysky of Borznyanskiy District, Chernigivska Region.   

Father – Golitsa Mykola, was born in 1926. Mother – Golitsa Anna was born in 1926. All their life the parents have worked in a native village, today they are pensioners. A wife – Valentyna, was born in 1959, she is an economist by specialty. A daughter – Olga, was born in 1981, she is a lawyer by specialty.   

After finishing the Plysky Secondary School he worked as a specialist of seismic unit in the Kyiv Geophysical Expedition, an electrician in the Chernigivska column convoy №2. Since 1970 to 1972 had the military service in the Armed Force of USSR. After ending of service he worked as locksmith at the Kyiv Aviation Plant.

In 1975 went to the University and 1981 graduated the Law faculty of the Kyiv State University named after Taras Shevchenko. After graduating of the University he worked as referent, head of a department,  head of  the Secretariat of the Kyiv Executive Committee.   

Since May of 1992 – the First Deputy of the Head of Departments for flats at the Kyiv Municipal State Administration. Since July 1993 he worked as business officer   at SC “Football Club Dynamo Kyiv”, since 1996 he was a member of the Coordinating Cancel of the Public Association “Vybir”.

In July 1996 he was appointed as head of the Principal department  for housing at the Kyiv Municipal State Administration. Since 1998 he became the Deputy of Head of KMSTA – Head of the Principal  department for housing.   

On the 5 of October, 2010 at the extraordinary general election  Michael Golitsa was been elected for the position of the Chairman of the Management Board – the President of the Stock Holding Company “Kyivmiskbud”.    

Michael Golitsa is the Top Manager of the highest level, who perfectly knows the deal about functions executions of an investor and consumer for building and reconstruction of housing, building manufacture specific, the capital building complex and industry.

The is the Deputy of the Kyiv Municipal Council for 22,23,24,25 convocations, “Honored Jurist of Ukraine”, awarded  with: “Honoris Causa” II and III levels, the medal “For Memory of 1500 years of Kyiv”,  Honored Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine, the Honored Certificate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,  the Appreciation of Kyiv Municipal Mayor.
